The traditional expedition route to K-2 (Chogori) 8611 M - the second highest mountain on Earth, 7 miles (11 Km). This is the center of the densest concentration of lofty peaks on earth. Some of these magnificent mountains in the Karakoram Range are Masherbrum (25,600), Mustagh Tower (23,690), K-2 (28,741), Broad Peak (26,400), Gasherbrum IV (26,810), Sia Kangri (24,350) Golden Throne (23,989), Mitre Peak (19,718), Chogolisa (25,110) and Hidden Peak (26,470).

Day 01

Islamabad - Chilas We depart from Islamabad and arrive at Chilas.

Day 02

Chilas - Skardu After a long drive arrived at Skardu transfer to hotel.

Day 03

Skardu - Askole We depart by jeeps from Skardu and reach legendary village, Askole.

Day 04

Askole - Jola We start our trekking from Askole and making a stop at Korofon and crossing Domurdo River we arrive at campsite of Jula.

Day 05

Jola - Paiyu Another full day's walk with tough portion of crossing river by Jhola, the flying fox. Later on we arrive at Paiyu for overnight.

Day 06

Paiyu - Urdukas We start our trekking on the glacier and make a traverse on Baltoro Glacier, Walking onwards along the glacier, we arrive at campsite of Urdukas for overnight.

Day 07

Urdukas - Goro 2 Our onwards walk, stay and everything is on the glacier the last place to grow grass and alpine flowers, en route and view of Paiyu Peak and Uli Biaho tower behind. Walking in the heart of glacier, Gasherbrum IV - 7929m is visible in her full glory. We pass by the Masherbrum Peak ( K-1 ) - 7821m and view Cathedrals across the glacier. Today our camp will be at Goro 2.

Day 08

Goro 2 - Concordia We are walking in a gorge of high mountains i.e. Gasherbrum, Masherbrum, Cathedrals and Mustagh etc. Mustagh Tower is an eye catching peak on the route. We finally arrive at Concordia and camp under Mitre Peak.

Day 09

Day Free at Concordia Enjoy the superb panorama of surrounding peaks at Concordia as one can see K-2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum-IV, Baltoro Kangri, Mitre, Crystal, Marble and Angel Peaks. Reaching at Concordia is rewarding as the first phase of the trek is complete.

Day 10

Concordia - Excursion K-2 Base Camp Today, we will make a trip to the base camp of K-2, crossing Broad Peak base camp en route. The walk is through heavily crevasses glacier but trekking is safe. After photography and having cold picnic lunch at base camp, we start walking back to Concordia, our campsite.

Day 11

Concordia - Goro 2 We start back to our same trek. camp at Goro 2.

Day 12

Goro 2 - Urdukas Trek for Urdukas.

Day 13

Urdukas - Paiyu Trek for Paiyu.

Day 14

Paiyu - Jula Trek for Jula

Day 15

Jula - Askoli Trek for Askoli

Day 16

Askoli - Skardu Jeep drive to back in the Skardu.

Day 17

Skardu - Chilas Drive back for Chila

Chilas - Islamabad Drive back for Islamabad
